@blythe025 Gaelic? Hmm. Gonna look that up after commenting. I guess it makes sense with all the differences of spelling, not to mention the many accents surrounding the English language.
Ah, well, don't feel bad on that. The po-po's get the best of us on that. :p

Ned Kelly was a bushranger, not a bush wrangler. Also, gaol is the old-timey spelling of jail. In Australia now all modern and currently working prisons etc are spelt 'jail'. It's only the old historic ones that are spelt with the g.

Gaol? Interesting how American English evolved away from British English. Certain words like 'favourite' lost the U and now Jail, is actually spelled Gaol. I mean they created the language so I guess American English is the slang version of English? LoL.
So based on what u said about that being in a gaol cell for a short time, and you were, based on that clip: What were ya in for? :p

@urielwirthful Actually I learned that "gaol" isn't even British English, but rather it's Gaelic. The word was used because so many Irish immigrants came through that they had a dramatic effect on the language. Which is cool.
Also, I'm not so much making fun of the fact that's spelled different, but that I myself can't work my head around the spelling.
According to the arrest record, I was in for driving without a license. Heh.
