Though experts predict that climate change could cause the extinction of polar bears by the end of the century, governments have failed to protect these vulnerable animals from the added pressure of human greed.
Globally, more than 1,000 polar bears may be killed by humans every year. In Canada, sport hunters pay up to 60,000 CAD to shoot a polar bear. They target the largest, most reproductively viable bears, and the survivors may then have difficulty finding suitable mates in the vastness of their ice habitat.
TAKE ACTION: Urge the Canadian government and other decision-makers to end polar bear sport hunting and commercial trade in polar bear products, before it's too late! http://action.humanesociety.org/site/Advocacy?pagename=homepage&id=5265&a...

I would like these so called hunters to lay down their weapons and "man up" and face the polar bears, and to hear their cowardly screams as this majestic animal tears them apart..grow a set of balls you pathetic excuse for a man.
