Transitioning Successful Pilot Studies into Mainstream Applications
There have been many small pilot programs to demonstrate improved practice outcomes in remote patient monitoring. However this has not resulted in reimbursement or routine use. This session explores the possibility of meta-analyzing the results of these trials or working with in NIH and the Institutional Council to design a conclusive large-scale outcome study, which will result in reimbursement and routine use.
