@RidleyReport - at 2:18 - corporations could still exist in an "anarcho"-capitalist system. They'd just take a different form and would most likely recreate the state. The real root of the problem is the capitalist system which emphasizes profit. Even in a totally free market, businesses would still be playing dirty tactics in order to beat the competition and establish monopolies.

Personally, I believe we do need a federal government for one reason and one reason only, to ensure that the states don't deny it's citizens rights guaranteed in the constitution.

As a citizen of NY State, my biggest wish is that the fed would step in and FORCE state leaders to restore gun ownership rights to those of us that live in NY. I don't see it happening any time soon, but in theory, that's what the fed SHOULD be doing. That and nothing else.
