@Moshimonsterable Seeing as you don't understand how to properly go about breeding, I would consider NOT trying to breed your betta. In fact, I advise highly against it. Bettas are extremely territorial and even when attempting to breed them one or both fish can be injured or killed. Do yourself a favor and just leave them be.

@DarrenLee93 , I don't think they could live out side of water for very long... the green is probably algea. Grab me one while your at it, ok. : )

yes they can, I have it at about 5 % salt water.... it's good for them and the fish... sort of a brackish conditions..
