This is one of my two large Apple snails being treated as an "elevator" by a little Mystery snail. The Apple is glad to oblige. 55 Gallon Aquarium with 7 Angel's.

  • Can these Apple Snails live out of the water? I got one nearby the river today, its covered in green colour

  • @DarrenLee93 , I don't think they could live out side of water for very long... the green is probably algea. Grab me one while your at it, ok. : )

  • can thet tolerate some salt in the water? just some?

  • yes they can, I have it at about 5 % salt water.... it's good for them and the fish... sort of a brackish conditions..

  • @Abbje56 Same i got one named Jerry he is a golden Inca...I love him he is so cool and easy to care for.Beats fish any day :)

    Go Apple snails!

  • @DarrenLee93 I heard they can live out of the water for like 5 hours which isn't really long

  • that's a fucking gorgeous set up. I'd love to have a tank like that

  • @Moshimonsterable Seeing as you don't understand how to properly go about breeding, I would consider NOT trying to breed your betta. In fact, I advise highly against it. Bettas are extremely territorial and even when attempting to breed them one or both fish can be injured or killed. Do yourself a favor and just leave them be.

  • @MrSomehobo Apple snails are not asexual. They need a male and female to make offspring.
