LDT Investments Inc and Developing Options Youth Foundation hosted this star Studded Health & Well Being Weekend dedicated to promote Youth Diabetes Awareness. This weekendl included a Sports Clinic offering young athletes the opportunity to be coached and mentored by National Football League professional players; a Tennis and Basketball Clinic; Cheer Camp. The Developing Options is a non‐profit, non‐governmental organization formed by Eugene "Big U" Henley for inner city children who suffer from Type 1 or 2 Diabetes.
Developing Options Youth Foundation (www.DevelopingOptions.org) is a division of Developing Options a 501c3 Corporation. The non‐profit organization located in Los Angeles, California. "Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children, teens and families affected by diabetes". The Foundation provides education and recreation within a supportive community, encouraging personal growth, knowledge and independence. The goal is to serve over 1000 inner city children annually from California and beyond whose lives have been forever altered by diabetes. Each year DOYF plans to touch the lives of hundreds of people affected by diabetes by offering one‐day, weekend, and summer‐long education programs in California (primarily in the Southern California regions).
