Iran is a country of many groups Azeri's, Armenians and Assyrians make up over 35% of iran. We all life together in peace, what is the hate about? BTW the -ian ending does not mean you are armenian my last name has an -ian but it does not make me armenian in farsi -ian means the family of. We love andranik just as much as any other player.

VIVA IRAN, VIVA ARMENIA ,BOTH NATIONS ARE ARIANS AND PROUD PART OF IRANIAN EMPIRE !!
-
sorry I meant first names not last names.
-
hashemian isn't Armenian!
Plus he's really old and useless now. I always hated his playing style.
btw, there are TONS of people in Iran with the "ian" surname but most of them are not Armenian. Armenian-Iranians usually don't have Persian/Arabic last names and that's how you can also know if a person is Armenian or not.

Andranik, just like myself speaks Armenian, grew up in one of the Armenian neigbourhoods of tehran, attended armenian schools in Iran and started his football career At Ararat, which is the Armenian sports club of Tehran.
we consider Armenia to be our motherland and are proud to call Iran our homeland and get along perfectly well with our persian brothers.
