Last week I received the sad news that my old friend and musical colleague Richie Haines had died at the tender age of 45. He ran Dungeon Studio where I recorded almost everything that was released by my bands Outback and Dr. Didg. I wanted to share this short video clip of the original Dungeon Studio and Richie at the controls and hope that it will bring warm memories to anyone who knew him.
really sad news. We (Bastila) Recorded our album there last year. Thought richie was really accomodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. The sheer amount of laughter in the studio and his incredible ears made the sessions really comfortable and enjoyable He will be sadly missed.

massively sad. The man was a genius and a true gentleman! My old band did all our recordings with richard and he is a massive loss to all things musical. R.I.P!
