This is the official video to our paper "Creation and Evaluation of Emotion Expression with Body Movement, Sound and Eye Color for Humanoid Robots" published at Ro-Man 2011 (http://www.ro-man2011.org/).
It presents eight emotional expressions for four target emotions (Anger, Fear, Sadness and Joy; two expressions each). The expressions were designed for the robot Nao, from Aldebaran Robotics, and use body movement, sound and eye colors.
This work is part of our research on Human-Robot Interaction at the lab for Human-Centered Multimedia, Augsburg University, Germany.
Downloads of these and other expressions for Nao are available at http://hcm-lab.de/projects/shr/.

Both Sadness - It's GIR!
Anger 1 - Epic swearing robot! :D
Anger 2 - Rise of the robot apocalypse!
Fear 1 - "OBJECTION! Robots can't harm humans unless they are specially programmed to do so by their creator! This evidence here shows that it was your creator's doing!"
Nao Robot: *Fears In shock*
Fear 2 - "OH GOD, let it end, LET IT END! I can't take it anymore!"
In all seriousness, I want a Nao robot! I wonder how much they will be for the general public in 2012. :-D
