what is the problem with getting the bikes legal. what's that all about, that's the only reason i haven't bought one yet because not sure I would even be able to ride it on city streets. Is there reasoning behind this? I do know most bikes below 250cc aren't considered road worthy but what would your 250cc model be considered as when i go to the DMV to register it? and is it possible in Louisiana

I´m from Uruguay (south america) and i would like to import one of those. How would i do that?

@kikker5150 Daaaaamn, thanks for the info. Seems like they only got the 50cc legal so far tho'. Might take a look at it soon!
We've had nothing but positive response to the new bigger frame Hardknock, or HKII as our customers call it. One forum member built a 250 v-twin version and a week later rode it from Canada to Mexico and Back, over 3k miles in less than 2 weeks with no problems.

@kikker5150 Proves they aren't "toy bikes" like some people dare to call them. Ohh, if I only could get one streetlegal here in Belgium.

Oh, but they are! We now have a European Type-approved version. you can see it at our European website hardknock(dot)me.

Since being released back in March, several 250 builds have been documented on the owner's forum. We have 250 kits in stock and ready to ship.
