Here you can see the end results of the cleaned nuggets compared to the first video. The GemOro does wonders when cleaning specimen and porous/crystalline gold nuggets.

  • @ProspectorJess, the dark spots are host rock, which is mostly dark quartz and some ironstone. This gold is about 95% pure, bulk of the other impurites are silver and small amounts of copper.

  • @Nuggethunting What is the composition of the dark spots? (%gold/silver ratio - electrum or host rock?)

  • @jessgo33 Hey Jess, Yes, there is fine gold at the bottom after cleaning specimens and even some nuggets. I will clean the bottom out once I seen some fine gold starting to build up. Talk with you later.

  • you should pan the dust in the Oro just to see if you got some small flower gold..
