This is part 1of a 50-min session in which editor of the Norwegian Attac-magazine (and web TV-channel) Taklinger, Ronny Kjelsberg is talking to Solveig Jonsdottir who is the leader of Attac Iceland, and Árni Daníel Júlíusson board-member of Attac Iceland.

The conversation moves through various themes. The economic situation in Iceland after the Economic crises, the political situation, the relationship to the European Union, the activities of Attac Iceland, the Kafkaesque process against the socalled "The Reykjavik nine" demonstrators, and the Icesave-deal.

This first part is about the economic situation on Iceland.

  • @zjedzgrzesia Clean out U'r ears.

  • @DurielMarakel I'm afraid I do not at all have the time for such a job. I suggest you try google translate ore something similar. Or transcribe/quote from the videos.

  • PS: with 'transcription' I mean the interview written down.

  • @DurielMarakel Not really. There is a shortened written version of the interview in the Taklinger Magazine, but it is in Norwegian. I can get you that, but I don't know how helpful it will be.

  • @omicronline I don't know how short it is, but if you could translate it for me or something, that would be real helpful! I don't know any Norwegian, so I couldn't do it myself. Thanks anyway for replying!

  • I am currently researching the IceSave-drama for my Economics-class and I was wondering if you have the transcription of this interview for me. Ofcourse, you will be noted as a source and as the creator of the interview.

    Excuse my sloppy English.
