@mrnick888 Im a professor at Yale, and you better hope we don't know each other. and the ironclads just happen to be one of my favorite subjects, and by the time i was 16 I was attending college, but if you want to personify your past experiances onto the image you have of me, then by all means demonstrate your level of ineptitude that borbers on the imbecilic.

@Drakenveld I lived in norfolk for many many years, I practically lived and breathed history, im well aware. strangley maybe all thats left is lower hull off craney island, whats left is what was original i grew up and the merrimac was used by locals for the longest time, glad to see it corrected.

and u didnt say anything about the ram coming off in the cumberland, ok guy u should deffinately study a lil more before u try and post any kind of documentry, if i were ur professor, i would give u credit for creativity, but u would still get an average grade for little content knowledge

@robh64 ok, while american was fighting america, the north wasnt fighting the north, nor the south the south. we dont call the c.s.s. albemarle the tree, or the railroad, so why would we call the virginia, the merrimac. yes it once was the merrimac, but it was nothing like the original ship, the upper gun deack was either burned away from when the federal soldiers tried to burn the ship, or it was cut away when the confederacy raised the wreck,

ok u know what u should just not even try to impersonate being anything from the south, at that time confederate soldiers called members of the union army, "federals" and the two other boats never moved up to capture the congress, they never got the message, bucannon was shot while trying to signal the other ships to capture the congress, at which time he gave the oder to burn it, and u never mentioned his second taking over command of the C.S.S. VIRGINIA,

Sadly history is always writen by the victor. Like the South referred the battle of Bull Run be called Manasass.
@Drakenveld We were 16 when we made this video. When you were 16 you were probably cleaning the dip spit off the walls of your high school bathroom. Who are you impressing by commenting on a four year old video made by 16 year olds? Your mom must be very proud, maybe she'll come down to the basement with a turkey sandwich you basement dwelling inbred.
