yeah, thats what i call bad, you know, staying on the horse, picking up the right lead, having a great seat. if you were in a show on that horse, i would give your riding all of the Blue Ribbons there. You weren bad at all!

For a first time canter that was bloody brilliant...verry genuine horse there aswell x

@spiritlover54 What ARE you talking about?! They were bred as Scottish warhorses, heavy enough to carry a knight in full armour to battle, much like Shires in England, of course they're meant to be ridden X'D

she's so cute!! my clydesdale is so lazy he won't even canter! i get him to trot a couple of steps and then he just stops and won't go anymore. he's also nineteen hands so he's just too big to carry himself that fast. so cute though. spooky looks lovely

Aw, don't give up on him ;) It took Spooky 8 months under saddle before we got this canter out of her :) She was jumping in the cross rail Hunters about a month later.

She doesn't look like a Clydesdale? What does she look like? LOL. She's not a show-type Clyde, more of a plough type (she was a farm horse for many years before I got her) so she's a bit thicker than some of the showier ones. Thanks for the nice comment, she just foaled a warmblood cross filly who will grow up to be a replacement for her. I love draft crosses, but it's been fun re-training the full-draft mom as well!
