It's no longer officially Valentine's Day, but I haven't gone to sleep yet, so...

I've been singing at a local folk club, lately. It's tremendous fun, and everyone there is very kind and supportive. It's a good thing, given the state of my poor old guitar, not to mention my playing. Tonight I sang an old ballad, The Butcher Boy. Hope you like it.

  • Watched this one with Lisa, so I'd not separately commented. I really loved it.

  • @NancyinNJ Thank you Nance! I appreciate it very much, coming from a folk lover such as yourself. :-)

  • I love ballads like these. You did a great job. We've just got to get you properly miked.

  • Haha, too true! :-) But it's a strictly unplugged evening. And not hearing my guitar work is (trust me!) a very good thing.

    Thanks, Lisa. :-)

  • This is really nice Liana.

  • Thank you. See ya soon.

  • @loquaciouskook I quite enjoy folk music!

I sing a lot of celtic ballads, mostly stuff like Danny Boy and Scarborough Fair.

  • Thanks, Hannah! You're a sweetie.
