The symptoms of viral meningitis include lethargy, headaches, stiff neck and generally not feeling well, but it can almost always be cured on its own. Let viral meningitis run its course, treating it with fluids and rest, with helpful information from a doctor in this free video on meningitis.
I was hospitalized for 4 days with febrile sezuire, pneumonia, and viral meningitis at a young age. I can see why I had a learning disability. I was so lucky I didn't die from those conditions, thank God.

@jennabeanable My brother just went to the ER because he was talking complete nonsence and random stuff. He was acting like a crazy person and even agressive. It also started as a Flu and had bone pain and headaches, the doctor took different tests and found nothing. So they decided to take his fluid liquids from his spine, they think its meningitis. Were these the symptoms you had? Did u talk nonsence and random things?

I just spent 30 days in the hospital with viral meningitis and encephalitis. I was first misdiagnosed with the flu and sent home, only to be rushed to the ER 3 days later. I wouldn't tell anyone to let it run it's course. I almost died.
