I would say it depends on the weather and pliots driving the airplane at take off or landing..

@ittsbadabing Hell no, that thing only traveled maybe 5000-6000ft before it took off. Most runways handling heavy aircraft like that are over 2 miles long.

favorite short haul is rj-85, favorite medium haul is the 757-200, favorite long haul is the 777-300.
Hmm In comparison to the DC10 video, the a330 has a notably greater wingspan. The DC10's rear ailerons also appeared to be slanted while the A330's are straight. Interesting.

well 737s are really cool too.... the newest kind i've flown with is the 737-800w.... hope one day i will get in the 737-900 must be cool

i've flown with the a330 many times and it is my favorite long-haul airplane.... my favorate short haul airplane is the avro rj-100
it took so long to get of the ground, looks like it is underpowered
