@ZeY00T00b yeah thanx i read about that some time ago, some ppl wanted james others the kid from twilight film,but nothing happened in the end...some trouble with Mary guibert or sumthin...

@MissTheSol YES! In fact there has been a huge internet rumor going around for years about a possible Jeff Buckley (Tim's son) biopic, and lots of people want James to play Jeff... Google "james franco totally looks like Jeff Buckley" :)

dont know if anybody sees this too, but doesnt james look a lot like tim buckley (starsailor years) specially as Scotty in Milk...
Im a big TB fan always thought JF looked like him they both have mega watt smiles!

Franco has the most beautiful smile.
I saw this movie three times in the theatre. I think you mean that it only showed in 36 opening night, because I know of 5 theatres that showed it in North Carolina of all places (of course I live in the third most gay-friendly city in the southeast, so that may be part of it).
