Iceland in the summer

I took those pictures in Dýrafjörður the summer of 2006. Dýrafjörður, in my opinion, is the most beautiful place in the whole world!!! At least it's the most beautiful place in all of Iceland :D

The song is Dagar Koma by Ljótu Hálfvitarnir.

PS. The pictures of the sea near the end are taken when I was going back to Reykjavík.

Excuse me for being a bit rude in applying so directly to you but I must get answers to my doubts. Many people claim that Iceland is a stunning destination with unearthly landscapes not to be encountered anywhere in the world. However, when I look at photos taken of Icenadic views, I do not get the impression there is anything to boast of . Well, there is some undeniable beauty but I think there are other countries in the far east and Europe which far exceed Iceland by beauty.So what's therush.

Of course there are many extrordinarily beautiful countries all over the world, and it would be strange to claim Iceland the fairest when the perception of beauty is highly personal and varies from person to person. What you find unimpressing might look highly impressionable to others.

@eliaviel1 Also, Iceland relies heavily on turism so we like to boast about our country's beauty as much as we can in order to lure in turists, that could explain some of the "rush" you mentioned.

Scandinavians followed the path via Volga river to the north,to Scandinavia,while Germans via Ukraine to Prussia,Germania.

Our great great King of Caucasian Albania (Azerbaijan) was Cavansir (Dzjavansir,he fought many bloody wars and protected our kingdom.The Caucasus consists of Azerbaijan,Georgia,Dagestan and small parts of Caucasian tribes of cis-Caucasus.
