Longbow has the fire control radar thingy on top
-
@hckyplyr72 no it's an AH64A (without mount radar).
AH64D can only be Longbow radar equiped.
-
@hckyplyr72 ok my bad, no disrespect to a guy who came before me

Yes if you read the next post I realized right away I mistyped. I worked on them late 80's early 90's and we did not have any Longbow Apache's. The OH-58D's would fly to help laser targets for the most part. Someone tried to say that all Apache's are Longbows which is not correct. Now they are but back then they weren't.
You are correct...I mistyped...AH-64A...most likely 1985 model but I cant read the tail number

@hckyplyr72 I hope you meant AH-64A
-
@hckyplyr72 if you worked on them youd know AH-64D are longbow standard........
-
That is not a longbow but still really cool
-
@hckyplyr72 AH64-D is the longbow fella, that would be an AH64-A
-
@hckyplyr72 In that case you would mean it's any other model BUT a model D...since the model D *is* the Longbow and this obviously isn't a Longbow (lacking mast radar dome).
SO, if you're going to be smartypants online and throw around the (supposed) fact that you're an Apache mechanic, you should really get your most basic facts correct.

No, its because the propellor blades produce a large amount of wind that can make anything light move.

Yes i ment that it was windy from the helicopters blades.
