This is actually a good story about positive outcomes of ewaste, including fair trade exports. This can actually create great jobs for people overseas if it is done in a fair trade manner.

Unfortunately, e-waste also illegally goes to India, Taiwan, and China

Most of this e-waste is exported from the developed world, illegally and disguised as 2nd hand equipment to be resold.
