Sir Arthur C Clarke

Sir Arthur C Clarke talks to Martin Kavanagh and Hari Kunzru at Heaven club, megatripolis, Charing X London on 31 May 1996. Sir Arthur C Clarke was speaking from his home in Sri Lanka via a portable satellite phone (and dish), transported to him by Adrian Clint of the mega-t crew and talking over isdn cables (organised by Martyn Kavanagh (Virtualitea room - mega-t) and the mega-t crew). All arranged in the typical mega-t diy normality. The link was part of the megatripolis lecture early in the evening. The live link went down half-way through, so the dj dropped '2001' the techno version on the dancefloor. Sir Arthur was speaking at the time of writing his book 3001.
