This is a Documentary on Starved Rock State Park located in Utica, Illinois. I made this film for a class that I took my freshman year of college. Please leave some feedback, as it is very helpful to hear back from people.

Shot on the Canon Rebel T2i using the kit lens, the 50mm f1.8, and a couple other lenses for a few shots.

Thank you for this video, Dan. I live in the central Illinois area and Starved Rock is "in my backyard". Think I may have to drive up this morning and walk those beautiful canyons! :)

nice! Really great job on this Dan. I liked the shots a ton, the music and sound was really nice, and the interviews were well cut to keep attention and the flow going. I'm not sure if you had a length requirement or not, but if you considered cutting it down a few minutes I think you could still tell everything you wanted to

Yeah, it had to be over 10 minutes. I was worried at first about being able to make it that long, and then i ended up not using a fair amount of stuff. I would have like to make it around 7 or 8 minutes, but yeah, i had to hit the 10 minute mark. Thanks for the comments though!

i was actually there two days ago and was shooting for class on my 7d. great video. only two suggestions are the sound is good but if you can get better audio equipment it would be awesome. also there isnt really a consistent focus. is it about the history or the park? Great video though!
