i love cardinal fitness. I'm so excited to see it pop up throughout the burbs. I was a bit intimidated when I got back into the gym because I was starting from square one. I achieved a pretty high level in 2000 at powerhouse gym...um..then I got married and fat, lol. People really do come in all shapes and sizes and the equip is actually top notch.

The 96th street location really needs to have their staff wait until closing to clean the gym. Last week, January 6th, a employee was cleaning a elliptical machine and backed into another machine with a girl on it...her mp3 player fell to the floor because of this. Employees also mop during workouts making the floor slippery.

You guys need to post signs that request members to not sit on equipment in between sets. It's appropriate gym etiquette to get off of the equipment in between sets! ENFORCE IT!!!

Great review, I go to the one in champaign illinois and it is a place for anyone, bodybuilders,running enthusiasts, health nuts,or people just getting in shape. It is a very clean place. I was a little nervous before coming that i would get intimidated but i didnt and i am not a great runner or a great weight lifter buti go just to keep myself in shape and it is very affordable with nice people and clean facilities.
