Spread the Word...VOTE FOR US!! (Kansas City Concert!!)

This video was made for a contest to meet David Archuleta. The idea of the contest was to promote David's music to large and small groups of people. We worked extremely hard. Please leave positive rankings and comments. Rankings and comments are a major part of the judging process!

About our video:

First, we decided to make David Archuleta shirts in honor of our favorite singer ever, Archie!! We wrote David Archuleta on the front of the shirts and Go To: www.myspace.com/davidarchuleta on the back of the shirts. David Archuleta was written in green and yellow, because we know that these are two of his favorite colors! We wore these shirts throughout the entire video.

Next, we decided to call numerous people from the phonebook. We wrote out a script and went at it. If the person answered, we would walk them through a special David Archuleta survey. At the end of the survey, we encouraged them to visit www.myspace.com/davidarchuleta. If the person did not answer, we left a message. We were always happy to introduce David to people who had never heard of him. Likewise, we were happy to hear that lots of people know exactly who he is!

Next, we decided to spell David's name out with our bodies. It took us hours to figure out how to shape each letter. However, as challenging as it was, we had a ton of fun. We chuckled and giggled while trying to stretch into the different formations of David's name. It was a blast!

Following, we decided to hit the mall. At the mall, we approached several people, and asked them if they'd ever heard of Archie. Then, we would hand them a slip of paper. The slip of paper read: www.myspace.com/davidarchuleta. We are hoping that David's myspace will get as many hits as possible!

As we walked out of the mall, we came up with another great plan. We decided to take our remaining slips of paper and put them underneath the windshield wipers of all the parked cars. In our video, you can see footage of one of the people who received a slip! She laughed as if she knew who Archie was. We were really excited to see her positive response to David's myspace.

Our movie was filmed in Chicago. We had been up there for a special trip we take every year. It's our tradition! On our way home from Chicago, we decided to make a sign that read: HONK FOR DAVID ARCHULETA! It's a three hour drive from Chicago to Iowa, our homestate, and we worked very hard to get people to honk. We smiled and waved and screamed Archie's name out the car window as we drove. Unfortuneatly, we were unable to get any footage of the honkers. We were all working our tails of trying to get people's attention! However, I can honestly say that a total of fifty-one people honked our way. We did include a picture of the sign we used.

At the end of our video, we included a segment of us dancing and just being ourselves. We love Archie's music so much. He has an incredible voice, with so much depth and so much beauty. We are David's biggest admirers. He has shown us that teenage kids can achieve their dreams if they work really hard. He has reminded us that there are good people in the world, people who care, and people who can make a difference. David has impacted our lives so much. Meeting him would mean so much to us.
