*NICK'S POV*
I looked over at Selena who at any moment looked like she could cry. I wanted so bad to comfort her and say that everything would be okay, but even I knew in the back of my mind this was a horrible idea. I had the feeling in the pit of my stomach that something bad would happen tonight I just wasn't sure yet. All I knew was that no matter what I had to keep Selena safe. That was my one and only priority.
"So, who wants to go upstairs and see the bed room?" Demi smirked
"That's where the husband shot the wife right?" Joe asked.
"Yup, then he killed himself after." Demi smirked again "let's go" she said taking
Joe's hand leading him up the stairs.
We all followed staying with our partners, I was holding Selena in my arms, it was the greatest feeling, I loved her so much. She put her head on my shoulder as Demi opened the door to the bedroom. I heard Selena gasp. I looked into the room and saw the most horrible thing I've ever seen. The two bodies laid there untouched for five years, they were just bones and old dried blood. The smell of dead filled the air. I looked over at the bed which had blood stains on the sheets. I guess they had a fight before he shot her. I looked back at the bodies and looked the husband right in the eye, I quickly looked away. I turned, looking for Selena who was no longer standing next to me. I saw her outside the room, sitting on the floor hugging her knees, crying.
"Sel?" I helped her up and hugged her. "are you okay?"
She hugged me, "I just want to go home."
"I know" I sighed "me too."
"Okay, we saw the bodies, can we leave now?!" Taylor asked, you could tell she was little shaken up.
"Were locked in" Joe reminded us.
I sat Selena down on the couch and walked over to Joe.
"we have to get out of here Sel is really scared" I told him
"then she should be putty in your hands" Joe winked
Demi came over and took Joe away everyone spit into their groups and went their own ways. All that was left in the room were me, Sel, Taylor and David. Just then the lights began to flicker on and off. I looked over and Selena who started hugging her knees again. Then the lights turn off completely, I heard a faint scream in the distance and the lights went back on. Something was different. I looked over to where Selena had been sitting and she was gone.
I panicked, "Did you see where Selena went?!" I asked Taylor and David
"Well, no the lights were off" Taylor answered
I rolled my eyes "David please," I begged, "Help me find her."
He shook his head. "Did you ever hear the story about this house?"
I shook my head.
He began the story, "The story goes... well I only know from what my cousin has told me, the one that's not stuck here.... Everyone who comes in, never leaves you're stuck in here forever. The husband will choose one person of the bunch to kill and keep as company for him and his wife... Selena being the choice, it's usually the scardest one. The rest of the group, IF they can go a week without dying, you'll be let out..... I used to think this was ridiculous until my other cousin came in here and never came back."
I felt my heart drop, "So he's going to kill Selena?"
He shook his head, "unless you save her"
"How do I do that?!" I would do anything for her.
David took a deep breath, "Give up you're life."
