Continued from last week...... Come fly with us to... THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY!! Just kidding. Geesh. Join in on the second part of our discussion on Star Trek - picking up with Star Trek V: The Final Frontier and conclude with JJ Abrams' reboot of the series. And maybe we'll provide the answer to why Jean Luc Picard does not have a French accent.

  • Undiscovered Country was very good, despite what you guys commented on. It's a good whodunnit, as well as particularly echoing the atmosphere of the time. And one of the creepiest moments where Spock mind-melded with Valeris or whatever her name was. Probably the only time Leonard Nimoy scared me as Spock......

I've already said my peace over the Star Trek movies, so this will be my last comment.

  • I think it's a decent entry, but as a final entry, it doesn't have the closure needed.

  • Don't shave it, Edwin!

  • Thank you. We'll see! It's still growing in.

  • Loving all the episodes, guys! Thanks for producing them!

  • Thank you! Glad you're enjoying them!

  • I thought that the Next Generation films are really lousy. First Contact is the only decent one of the 4 NG films. But I really didn't really like them.

  • ageist XDXD great line

  • I was surprised they all loved 2009's Star Trek since it is full of plot holes and dumb coincidences, the smart move of the movie is that it is so fast paced it helps to cover them up.

  • I loved First Contact.

  • Jean luc Picard learned English at the same time as he grew up speaking French. He also learned English from England. That's why he has a British accent. My kids grew up speaking Spanish and English together and they don't have an accent.

  • The hologram is from VOYAGER not DS9. Neelix without makeup is also the maitre d in the holodeck. You also forgot Ron Perlman in great makeup in NEMESIS. The Remans were my favorite part.

  • 18:21 lol Tom Hardy.

  • You guys commented on the age of the actors in 6, and while I agree that the leaping to save the day, as it were, was hokie, overall the age thing DIDN'T bother me because, like 2, they put it front and center and didn't try to hide it. (Wow, that was a long-assed sentence.) Meyer did the same thing with 2 and it worked. This worked as well. You can't get better than 2...but Undiscovered Country was a VERY close second.

  • Sorry but JJ's movie was MIND NUMBINGLY DUMB!!!!

It was trying to copy Star Wars. I thought the story was insulting and those DAMN LENS Flares was ANNOYING!!!!

  • Star Trek isn't about villians, it's about "discoving some planet" as Jeff put it. TMP, TFF and ST:I were the only films to get this and they are the most underrated films.
