Hey MsVee! Loove your videos, you remind mind me of a few women in my fam, lol. Anyway I did the big chop Aug 14, 2011..(not long I know lol) but you think if I try yarn braids it will allow my hair to grow a little faster so I can define my curls better? I'm having a hard time taking care of my lil fro!

@DivaMonie808 Well congrats on your BC! To answer your question its not about growing faster...your hair already has its own growth rate. However styles like these are great at RETAINING LENGTH. So yes, go for it and enjoy them. Like I have been saying, I just put in some new ones and will be doing a (new) series on yarn brads. First vid will be posted this Thurs...a how to vid on braiding them. =)

@MsVcharles I was also thinking about doing some kinky twist, and i was wondering do they even have human hair for those? I was dabating between to two styles of braids. Im just curious. Ive been transitioning for about 8months now, and I'm trying to do some protective styling for the fall/winter season.
