I never get to see Zizek on American TV. This depresses me. That the American public sphere self-regulates intelligent nuanced debate to the point where anything outside of the "Jersey Shore" context becomes too esoteric to understand.

@parkt6792 Yes they are :)

@frankythered Belgians are so stupid;)

@parkt6792 So you were being nationalistic all along? The NATO pretty much is the U.S., the fact that we're free-riding only makes the U.S. stronger than if we wouldn't do it. I don't know if you're being ironic/sarcastic about Libya, but it certainly is funny seeing you take this point on Libya since you were so critical on the sources earlier on. Please clarify what you mean. Is there a difference between 11 and 312 million? Not really, all depends on the environment.

@frankythered it does amuse me to see a lot of you smug Europeans comparing your country to mine. My home state, land mass wise, is about 5 times larger than Belgium (btw a beautiful country). You have 11 million people? Is there any difference between that and 312 million people? Keep free-riding under the security umbrella of NATO and the U.S. - and thanks for the help in Libya you pacifists. Let someone else do the heavy lifting to uphold your values, and I know you love Manuel Barroso!

@parkt6792 Ok bye, mister wrong conclusion maker :)

@parkt6792 I never described the Flynn effect, I just referred to it lol.
-
@frankythered Ok, I'm going to stop responding to you. You obviously just googled a few things and used them as references as though you had known about their existence beforehand. You didn't describe the Flynn effect properly, it relates to an increase in results of subsequent IQ tests given to underperforming (non-western) nations. You're probably young. Denmark 98, Australia 98, Israel 95, Italy 97, Spain 98, Portugal 95, Czech Repub 98 (though MUCH more research needs to be done)
-
@frankythered But since your not convinced, look up on the common core standards and find out a lot of what is going wrong :)
-
@parkt6792 If you don't think that being 2 points of the median isn't a big deal(for one of the most advanced countries in the world) then so be it, but if there's a reason for them being 2 percent off than it will not get better(flynn effect) considering the countries below the USA actually still need to go through lots of development.

@frankythered But actually you're a bit of the joke here.For example, where it comes to articles written by your beloved Richard LYNN(and I have a problem with his involvement in the Pioneer Fund and ties to the Mankind Quarterly journal, and you probably don't know what I'm talking about),Lynn and Meisenberg National IQs Validated for 108 Nations, Intelligence 2010, they write following national IQ averages: France 98, Germany 99, USA 98, Italy 97, Belgium 99, Greece 92, Ireland 92, and so on..
thanks, corrected
