Tarja - 2007 operatic performance 1

Today, December 6th, Finland celebrates independence from the evil empire of communist Soviet Russia.

The world's best soprano singer Tarja Turunen performed live at the official Independence Day concert.

This is the first appearance which contains three short operatic songs in Swedish and Finnish.

Also I noticed you repeat obsesively that you are a classical singer. Are you someone of reknown? Having a permanent contract as a soloist at the opera?

I keep seeing you posting in Tarja videos and try to invent all kind of wacky motives. She has too much power or is too soft, her range is too small and so on.

Are you obsessed or something?

Tarja had her first apearance at state opera at age 19. Without microphone if that's so important for you.

Her live range is above 3 octaves, ranging from dramatic mezzo, to spinto and into coloratura.

Actually it's identical with Callas and above Netrebko for eg.

@sjmaco Yes, I am a male classical singer and have 3 octaves as well. It's how you use your range. She lost something with time. And I bet she can't handle REAL pieces without a microphone- which is true opera for me. She's good, but those who say she has the best voice in the world clearly know nothing about opera. This is my opinion, with respect.

As much as I loved her in NW I have to say she should skip opera. She's not good at it. Her voice might be powerful but her range is too short for an actual opera.
