@gchsbus kansas you are only allowed 10 over the speed limit and that is only away from built up congested areas. school zone you better be doing the speed limit. you have to consider that states have different requirements for their responders in pov. speeding will not get to you the scene in a safe manner if you cause accidents or loose control of your vehicle. speed is determined for the road conditions, and congestibility and not because of the incident.

not all states allow their public safety responders to use lights and/or sirens at all while in pov. missouri and kansas allow that to happen. i was told that 6 years ago you could not utilize lights/sirens in pov in new mexico at all. i hope they have changed the law by now. maine is still being anal on their pov responses and the utilization of emergency equipment.

Lot's of lights, sirens, cars, people, smoke and flames...... No water? !

Huge fire and this guy is running lights and sirens POV yet manages to still only do 5 over the limit. Step it up partner. If you aren't in a hurry you might as well respond without lights and sirens at all. If other motorists were not pulling over they probably would of passed you.
what dept. are you with? like what state and county? and do you have to be a chief or something to have your sirens or do all first responders have them?. because the dept im with you are only aloud to have one dash light and the chief is the one with the siren. lol.

@Firefighter0804 This video was taken by one of the WPFD Paid On Call firefighters in his POV. We are in Howell Co. in Missouri. In the state of MO, we are allowed to run lights and sirens.
