@Aurinkohirvi Thanks for the links. This is the most entertaining conspiracy theorist I've seen in a long time. He's really, _really_ trying his best not to sound like a complete, bumbling moron.

Been there, done that.

cool we can finally go to the moon
-
@Nonsequitor415 easy, they just checked when there will be no solar wind passing through their way and traveled it the meantime. Also the Moon is very close you need few hours to go there, a journey to Mars will take months. There is no way to predict the solar activity this far into the future.

@thefinalfrontier1701 moon isn't that far ,Its very near to the Earth.... Thats all
-
If this can get mastered we are one step closer to colonizing mars.
-
@MrAlanDickinson lol that is sad. The way he says it is boring as hell lol
-
so how'd that get to the moon despite this problem of solar wind?..
-
Well, it could be closer than you think. The best Radiation particle shield is a shield made from a particle source. I'll draw up a design and post it.
"no you cant kill them, they've got a force field"
The funniest thing I have heard a bbc dude say in a long time!

Look for a YouTube user WhiteJarrah. Among his many videos you'll find a few about solar flares. And yeah, also a Russian scientist (indeed!) showing radiation doses from solar flares.
Even NASA admits solar flares outside the van Allen belts are dangerous, or lethal. But they claim Apollo missions were LUCKY there was no solar flares - Jarrah disagrees.
