  • Other posters in error, as usual. This is the best performance of the Op.119 Rhapsody on Youtube-not ponderous Grimaud.

  • At 4:30, almost impish. Not easy to lighten up on Brahms.  I think he's superb...never ponderous or depressing. Bravo

  • How very different from the Hess-version!

    I must say I don't like his interpretation of both pieces very much, although the Rhapsodie is pianistically superb.
