The Cobbled Solomon Bar is another impactful take on the classic Solomon Bar tie. Incorporating a subtle circling technique prior to the tying of each Square Knot, the tie doesn't seem like much at first. But wait until you flip it over, and reveal its bewildering cobbled side! Video production by JD of Tying It All Together.
I like the way this looks, as well as many of the others you've made, but I prefer to use buckles. Is there some simple way to do so with your designs, or would it be necessary to change them up to suit the task?
I like this knot, quite a startling effect and very satisfying. I have a question that no one seems to have picked up on. You specify equal lengths of cord but in this instance the blue uses far more cord material as it is wrapped through and round before cinching. You end up however, with equal lengths of cord. I don't. Am I doing something wrong or should the proportion of cord be [say] 2:1 with blue being the greater?

Even after watching the part on the 2-Strand Diamond Knot Clasp 20 plus times I still can’t get the knot to come out right.

Love this knot, it looks like a hedgehog! Cannot wait for my latest order of paracord to get here so I can try it! Ly x

could this method be incorporated into the wide solomon bar to make a rifle sling?

@ashighasapie There is the same knot used in the corset spine bracelet video and its easier to follow. I had some trouble with this one too.

Just made an orange and green one of these and looks good but i couldn't do the diamond knot at the end, so I did a monkey knot which I found easier.
