@zaphod7 No it wouldn't. These turtles love to swim, and a turtle 6 inches long does not have near enough space in a 40 gallon.

@NinjaBlood125 no, you need a minimum of 20 or 29 gallon tank you would be better off with a 40 gallon though because they will grow

@11gearhead13 I don't have the tank anymore, but it looks very similar to a images.google.com search for 40 gallon tanks.
