Let's Spend the Night Together (Stones cover) NEW ORIG. SONGS AT http://cdbaby.com/cd/bouchard

The inspiration for this version actually came from a rare cover version by Muddy Waters. Yes, Muddy Waters covered the Stones on this one! Thanks to Bobby for the funky guitar leads.

Joe's solo album is available on CDs & LPs! http://www.joebouchard.com/bouchard_merch.htm

Welcome to my most ambitious video project to date. This is 1 of 9 clips from the entire acoustic set that we did at Infinity Hall in Norfolk CT in October. To see the entire set click on the !~Infinity Acoustic Jukebox Set playlist.

  • i kinda lost the whole 'let's spend the night together' bit. you might as well have made a new song

  • @limosince2007 Well, thanks for the comment, but that's exactly what we were trying to do. Stones with a radical twist to it.

This is one of the more obscure Stones blockbusters, it deserved a redo. When I heard the Muddy Waters version (you can find it on YouTube) a light bulb went off in my head. What we ended up with is a split between Muddy and Mick, but acoustic style. I personally love it and it's going through the roof as far as views go. Thanks everyone for watching.

  • is that bobby on guitar who knows robyn from wpdh????

  • I dig it ... along with 2000 Light Years From Home ... you're getting closer to a Stones Pin-Ups collection. Now all you need is ...me! on harp! ... lol ... great stuff, Joe!

  • the beginning seems GET BACK.

  • I like the Led Zeppelinness (or even Creamness) of the riff you play. Stones' one was lighter and jumpier, but you play so thick it makes this sure that you pray at the Page-Jones-Bonham altar.

    And this is great!

  • I like the Led Zeppelinness of the riff you play. It's not Stones, those guys were lighter and jumpier. But here the foundation betrays the fact you pray at Page-Plant-Bonham altar.

    I mean, great job, really!

  • I do like this

  • genial

  • I'm watching the Stones covers uploaded to utube.

    They're 1 of my faves...not bad.
