Fiskars make great products, but any environmental benefit is being wiped out clean and then some by China and India. Now, now, now.......... even now, and now.

I got to test my Fiskars Momentum under some pretty adverse conditions - cutting a lawn that had overgrown for two months, complete with weed overgrowth. The basic lawn is (was) St. Augustine.
The 4" max is helpful if yard gets overgrown, cuz it gets bogged down otherwise. On the other hand, it doesn't handle the weeds at all, so I had LOTS of handweeding. And Sweetgum balls/pinecones do NOT go with the Momentum. Must be picked up prior to mowing, or picked from mower.
I love it anyway.

She litters at 1:07 ~ I bag my leaves with a Troybuilt gas mower. gas baggers for compost imo. You would need plant trees for that though. Use it on high grass for the viewers. I do indeed like that little momentum but would like to see her or another babe sweat using it first.

@LiveGreenMom I have gone through two push mowers and one (same design) yet powered. I've done it myself and have used a professional in the past. He will not longer do it. The "reel" mowers do cut the grass better, but the maintenance, oiling the blade, tuning, etc. was too much in time and money. I can use my power mower and cut the grass in a fraction of the time with good results. The eco impact is negligible and greatly compensated for in other areas.

I don't get the adjustable height. I have an old scott's reel mower from the 70's with adjustable height.

Please!!! Less talk and more of the product in action. Thank you.
I love it BUT!!! There is one major problem you will have to face at some point...SHARPENING!! Here's the deal: You have to sharpen all five blades, exactly right across the whole surface and all blades matching. Each moving blade must contact the fixed blade the same. If you sharpen one blade more (removing more metal) it will not make contact with the fixed blade and will not cut. Each blade must be sharpened to exactly contact the fixed blade....this can be a real tuning nightmare a much work

@btsseeker I haven't had mine sharpened yet but i was thinking about that very issue! I guess I will have to try and find someone that specializes in the maintenance of push reel. Have you had yours sharpened? Or do you do it yourself?

Where are your shoes?

@MegaEgroeg I have flip flops on for the video. If I were going to mow the whole yard I would go ahead and wear sneakers.

Slightly wet grass is ok but a little more difficult to mow. I have mowed when it has been raining slightly and that was very difficult! Not recommended. I did see it at Home Depot the other day, and the nice thing about the Deep is that if you are dissatisfied with it, they take anything back. Couldn't hurt to try! Thanks for stopping by to watch & comment :)

Thank you! I've had it since April 2010, and I couldn't be happier with it. I have had no problems with the blades, and I have hit some stones, though no tough brush. I clear sticks, branches & brush before I mow. It cuts through leaves if you don't have a huge mess of them, otherwise you need to rake up the bulk first. The height is adjusted on the right side for the whole rotary blade. (see minute 1:34). I think there is a bag you can buy but I don't have it.
