You must remember this A kiss is still a kiss A sigh is still (just) a sigh The fundamental things apply As time goes by
And when two lovers woo They still say: "i love you" On that you can rely No matter what the future brings As time goes by
Moonlight and love songs - never out of date Hearts full of passion - jealousy and hate Woman needs man - and man must have his mate That no one can deny
Its still the same old story A fight for love and glory A case of do or die The world will always welcome lovers As time goes by

iam so proud to be italian!! frank was the coolest guy to be asscociated with back than. sure he had a bad side to himself but dont everybody!! music like his and others in his genure will always remain timeless even in the year 3000.
I see the critical notes about Sinatra's version. Please note: he did the song for his FINAL Capital Album "Point of No Return," and was well on the way of doing fresh new recordings for his own lable, Reprise.
He sang the hell out of this song in concerts throughout the latter part of his career.
Having said that, this is a fine recording, a final teaming with his longtime arranger.
He was called below my comment,a mobster and a bully. Sinatra was no angel although he could be extremely kind. He also had a dark side, like most great talents. He could be brutal if he felt wronged. When his mood would swing he could be very temperamental. Be interesting to see what Martin does with Frank on the new film; I hope Johnny Dep plays him!!
there will be no mr.frank sinatra on this planet earth again. god creates only the ol blue eyes. mr.sinatra i am 60 and have listened to your songs since i was 10.god bless you sir. ted ayrom london
Sinatra could be a jerk but he also had a heart of gold. He did so much for childrens charity, helped support many people in need. Joe Louis,Ava, Bela Lugousi and others but because he was bipolar he also could be a monster. His art will be remembered for many years to come. His interpretation of the lyric. Making it real, was outstanding!!!
