It matters a lot of what a band sings about to me. I can't listen to most "popular" music because most of it sings about things I do not agree with in the least and it seems to be getting "worse", but I suppose every generation says that :p. *Looking forward to it one day getting better*

For those who have a problem with the religious content- I'm an atheist and usually despise Christian music based on its suck factor, but the honesty and Passion of this band is well beyond that soft, stoic, redundant ass kissing that defines most modern Christian music. This band is brilliantly honest and not preachy, but self reflective. I respect them for that, my complete lack of religion aside. They're genuine, and I won't hate on that.

you know, i appreciate the musical and lyrical ability, but the spirit of the song...seems a bit like despair...my soul doesn't need that. but i like the rawness of it.
