And awesome trick by the way, it isn't too obvious how you (would) get them to pick the right card.

actually you re right,it doesnt reallly make sense...the part is only there to "proof" that you didn't just switch the cards around during the "selection" procedure.
but if you have convinced the spectator that you did indeed project that thought,why would you need to proof with the card from the pocket? it doesn't add anything to the impact of the trick,only if the spectator didn't believe you in the first place
