I Think I'm In Love With My Big Brother (A Jemi Love Story) - Chapter 7

~Joe's POV~
The tears continued to pour down my face. Demi just let me continue to cry into he shoulder. She was so sweet. I pulled away from our hug and looked her in the eyes.

Joe: Thank you Demi. *Smiles*
Demi: Your welcome Big Brother. *Giggles and wipes his tears*

Big brother? That's all I was to her, and that's probably all I was ever gonna be. I sighed as my smile faded.

Demi: What's the matter?
Joe: Nothing. I gotta go. *Turns his back to her*
Demi: *Doesn't believe him, but sees that he needs to be alone* Ok. *Leans in to kiss his cheek*
Joe: Hmm, what did you say? *Turns around and accidentally kisses her*

Her lips tasted so sweet. I wanted to stop because I knew this was wrong, but I couldn't stop, and she didn't either. In fact, she was kissing back. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her close as she draped her arms around my neck. This is so wrong! I finally got the energy to pull away.

Joe: *Pulls away, taking his arms off from around her waist and takes her arms off from around his neck. Steps back breathless and shocked* Umm, I guess I'll, uhh, see you in music class tomorrow.
Demi: *Breathless and shocked as well* Yeah. See you tomorrow.
Joe: *Starts walking upstairs to his room, but is staring at Demi, so he runs into a wall* Sorry. *Stops staring at Demi and runs upstairs to his room*
Demi: *Giggles and smiles like an idiot*

-The next day in school. 1st period-

~Demi's POV~
I walked into music class. I was nervous Joe would say something about yesterday. I sat in my corner all alone, again. Joe got up from the only desk in the room, his desk, and started telling the class about upcoming musical events and stuff. We didn't work on our duets though. All we did was after his announcements was just talk and listen to swing music. Joe was teaching us about different eras of music and he wanted to do the 1920's first. The bell finally rang and I got up to leave for English, but Joe stopped me.

Joe: Everyone is dismissed, except Demi. I want you to stay after class.

The whole class said "Oooooo" in unison and giggled out the classroom. He got up and closed the door.

Demi: Don't you have another class coming?
Joe: No. I have 2nd period prep. It's for grading papers and stuff.
Demi: Oh. *Akward* So.....
Joe: Please sit down Dems.
Demi: Where? There are no desks, remember?
Joe: How about in our usual corner? *Points to the corner Demi sits in all the time*
Demi: O-k. *Sits back in the corner*
Joe: *Sits next to her and sighs* Look, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. It was an accident. And I was- *Cut off*
Demi: *Places her hand on his cheek* It's ok. You don't have to be. *Leans in*
???: *Walks in the room*
