  • Hi Rick, I've put a link from my latest video to this page, if you would like me to link to your site by another way please let me know. Thanks for the encouragement and advice on image quality, I'm getting there slowly, thanks again.

I put the link in 'About Radio ... Part 3 by Andy Davies' but I don't seem to be able to paste the link in here.

    Kind Regards ...Andy

  • @AndyDaviesByTheSea

The 'Show more' and the 'About Me' supports active links in YouTube. I have put your link and others in my 'About Me' and they are active. It is important to put a CR at the end of the link. This also holds true for eBay.

    Regards,

    Rick

  • Hello

Thanks for making this excellent book available for free.

I have a question about figure 8-3, page 77; when on band C, what is point 9 (the antenna) on S1 connected to? The resulting circuit to the right, in the dotted frame, suggests that the antenna is connected. To me it seems like point 9 is not connected to anything. In addition point 5 on S1 seems to be unused.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jon

  • Thanks RadioDude1969

The part that you can't see is the copper runs on the switches. I use an ohmmeter to confirm all of the connections. And was surprised myself on how all the connections for the antenna where made.

    Rick

  • @AllAmericanFiveRadio Thanks, Rick. Yes, I am aware of the copper runs, but I still gan't figure it out. Is figure 1-4, page 6 switch S1? If so, point 9 (the antenna input) can be connected to either point 4, 5 or 6...

    Jon

  • @RadioDude1969

Oh, pin 4,5,6 are connected on both sides. The copper run are isolated from side to side.
