@hypercatjohn your only proving my point further.Brit pop started out as something good but as it got bigger, like grunge for example, record companies used that to their advantage and just looked for bands that sounded the same.British record companies are just as bad as ones in the states and even Oasis for example would agree with that.so don't tell me that brit pop wasn't a big commercial thing because no matter how much you sugar coat it it doesn't change that fact.

Their sound couldn't of been any more stand out and alone amongst all the lie-down-and-die bullshit that grunge bands were putting out, they alone made an ENTIRE generation of people stand up and take hard fucking notice of their music and a sound they pretty much invented.
