Use fastboot-linux for linux and fastboot-mac for mac instead of fastboot when typing.

i have hboot 1.49.0012 so the only unlock method is the official htc one, so i was thinking, use the htc method then use this video to just turn s-off to s-on??? thoughts are appreciated.

PHONE WONT BOOT :(

after i had typed in the fastboot oem command and it successfully finished but instead of rebooting the bootloader i incidentally selected the powerdown option.

now the phone wont turn on to regular start or fastboot thing.

Anyhelp?

@B33FNIGGACHU take the battery out and reboot into bootloader by holding Volume down and Power button.

@ossi009 No, this one only works with Sprint CDMA Evo 3D, you will have to find another way for GSM Evo 3D!

Man, finding this was a relief at first, but that PC86IMG downloads at like 10k/s, and the download gets interrupted every time. Anywhere else I can get ahold of it? Some rough speeds for a 400mg file...

I have the Sprint HTC Evo 3D. However, I have hboot 1.5, and it never finds the  PC86IMG.zip. Is there anything that can be done?

Max- I unlocked my EVO 3D via the HTC method. S is ON and I have superuser. My bootloader is HBoot 1.50. When I use your method and place PG86IMG on the SD and run fastboot, it does not recognize the file (once it runs through it). What am I doing wrong?
