From the Transit of Venus 2012 Symposium, held Saturday 28 April 2012 at the University of Toronto.

The transit of Venus is a rare astronomical event where Venus, as seen from Earth, passes across the face of the sun. This Symposium provided scientific, historical, cultural, artistic, and educational perspectives for the 5 June 2012 transit of Venus, the last one visible during the 21st century.
