try locking the car, the alarm would make this weird beep with lights flashing (regardless of doors been fully shut or not)

when the car is locked, press the trunk open button on keyless entry would make alarm sound...

turn on the ignition, then turn off and pull out the key. Before locking the car with my keyless remote, the car just start flashing the turn signals, the weird thing is the dashboard lights inside of my car also flashes with the turn signal...

the theft indicator would flash one time, then 2 times very quickly, like "flash............flash flash............flash............flash flash"

if someone would help me diagnose the problem that be great. last time it happend was 2 years ago, and i replaced the battery the problem gone, but my battery seems to be in good condition: car off 12.9v, with engine running at idle 14.0v, with gps on, radio on plus the high beam on, 13.6v

  • I really wish someone would answer your question because mine is doing the same EXACT thing!

  • @CurlyCrazyfulLeah It actually goes away by itself, and only happens once a year or so! Now my car is running normal without me doing any thing. I suspect the wet weather caused some sort of short circuit in the electrical system.

  • I have the answer to your woo's in the car check your electical grounds. They might need to be replaced because they patina that blue green tarnish on the wires makes electrical system erratic. My accord kept throwing engine lights and fading radio displays and erratic starting. The grounds can be replaced with bigger jumper battery ground wires which can be bought and replaced with a 10 or 12mm socket easy stuff. They can be found on the engine transmission and battery to body. Hope that helps.

  • @Avocazz I think it was caused by a weak battery that needs replacement, also sometimes it was caused by humidity, nothing you can do besides wait it out.

  • My girlfriends car started doing this last night. did you ever figure out what the issue was?

  • That scared me!

  • Maybe unhook the battery for awhile? or try and reprogram your remotes? I've never had this problem. and I hope I don't XD

  • Mine just started doing this today "/ and it wont start
