A comment about something that you may not have even noticed: when you say "normal people," why do you do so in a way that excludes yourself? Just because you don't fit in with the majority of society's notions of the way things should be, that doesn't make you abnormal.
To give an example, as you know, I am liberal, and tend to have a worldview that supports that. That said, I think that conservatives are normal, even if they don't have a similar worldview to me. So, what is "normal?"
03/11: Looking back on this video nearly a year later, I realize that the concept of normalcy I address is one largely created by advertising, which is part of why I see it as an illusion.
"But it isn't real."? I'm going to have to seriously disagree with you on that, hon. Interesting ideas though, we should debate sometime. :)
