A stripped down jazz rendition of A Venture and Close to the Edge by the Steve Howe Trio at the Sage Gateshead March 2010. Great to hear a different composition of a Yes classic by one of the original co writters
VERY nice. So much of that stuff is iconic, and it's great to hear it played by the man himself. Nice treatment, cool interplay...a real fresh way to hear this great music. I like the stadium, "dry ice" presentation as well, but this is different and just as good in it's own way.
Bravo, Steve. (I've got a Signature SH 175, and it's one of my favorite instruments!)
This is so much better dry than with than with dry ice! Top marks Steve, and good luck with the Trio - it's genuinely fresh. Great post, CC. Post-prog, anyone?
