DESTINY was in town for our Seattle Hmong New Year! Quite interesting [: I got to finally meet them, personally - I had fun! I'm pretty sure we all had fun. And why were we all so loud? Its because not that many Hmong artists/bands come to Seattle. Although Seattle is a big city, the Hmong community is pretty small - So once someone do come into town we all get pumped up and excited about it :D Destiny's awesome! Enjoy this short clip.

  • Hey I'm new to Seattle. Where do they hold Hmong new year and where do Hmong ppl hang out at

  • @JokezHmoobXyooj

Hmong new year is located at the Seattle Center, right next to the Space Needle. Hmong people hang's out everywhere! Everyone's busy, the Hmong population isn't so big there as well so we're all over the place. If you want to check out some Hmong people, there are lots selling fresh flowers at The Pike Place Market (:

  • Thanks shengggx3. Will do check out pikes. Nice vids.

  • Shiet they're getting old, but I still love their music ;D

  • I've seen them live a couple of times. All my Vang brothers - I like them and their cafe :)

  • @SHENGGGX3 i wish wi is like that too. what's their website?

  • No, it's fine. Yes they're pretty organize and strong, especially since the Hmong population here isn't all that big, we all tend to support each other and stay strong as one. They have their own website as well.

  • @SHENGGGX3 oic...hmmm....sorry to bother u again but do you happen to know if the hmong community there is running strong and organize?

  • Hmong singers? In Seattle/WA? I don't think so. Not that I know of; there are local bands and such but "big" Hmong singers, no. And yes, Bruce Lee and Brandon's grave are buried in a public cemetery so yes, it's free of course.

  • oic...sorrie to be nosey here but i was wondering, are there any hmong singers over there? and plus is bruce lee's grave is free to go and watch?
