Sure, we can lump em in with all the other "cock rock" bands out there who write about rock and roll and still break out the blazing guitar solo instead of being "innovative" or "edgy" but by God, this is my kinda music! There's still hope for music, y'all.

First album was a blast, the 2 other just plainly sucks :(
-
I'll agree with that I guess. {:-)
-
@mechaghostman2 Then shit, I will only agree if we can break it down one step further & call it modern "southern" rock!!! I only say this because of the organ & his singing style...
-
Hate to break it to you, but yeah it is. It sounds like almost all the other Alt. Rock out there. Radio Rock or whatever. I still enjoy it, but it has quite the generic sound.
-
Well yeah, it has a lot of other influences in it, but mostly it's alt. rock mixed with a bunch of others like all other radio rock. In certain songs they sound a bit like Killswitch Engaged meets Metallica meets Nickleback, but in this one it's less of those first 2. Just what I hear in it anyways. {:-p And lol, tell your wife I said, "You're welcome." {:-D

@mechaghostman2 ...with a southern feel, that is why I wouldn't classify it as Modern Rock... has too much of a Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers &/or Black Crowes influence (along with some heavier guitar) to be Modern Rock. Now bands like Rev Theory & Burn Halo I would call Modern Rock, but not Black Stone Cherry. Thanks for the Back & Forth, my wife would thank you since I'm using this as an outlet so she don't have to hear about it! :)
people today don't understand true music since when has synthesised singing been "music". if i listen to this at school im apparently an "emo", thumbs up if you think people are stupid for stereotyping.
